Cultural Health and Science Initiatives Enterprise LTD
Who are we? What is our history? Why are both of these important to know? CHSIE is an organisation that works to answer all of these questions by presenting detailed information and facts to help restore the narrative of the Indigenous Aboriginal diaspora which the education system and dominant society will never inform you about. The organisation recognises that the young upcoming generation are important to our future and works closely to give them cultural pride and knowledge.
Health and dietary requirements of the Indigenous Aboriginal diaspora is a specialty of the CHSIE. The organisation's founder Gwen McLeish has a great wealth of experience about the body, nutrition, cooking and eating the right foods and natural remedies.
Some of the topics covered by CHSIE include: education, cultural and tropical diets/foods, obesity, cooking, foraging, planting and growing, health housing, crime, legal matters, bereavement, counselling, job training, women small business enterprise (with links between Afrika and the Diaspora in giving advice) slavery, female genitalia mutilation, cosmetics and self-pampering, slave labour and cultural/history trips.
